Quick summary
Aurus is a non-custodial Solana wallet. We do not collect or store your private keys or recovery phrase. We process limited information to provide wallet functionality and maintain app reliability (e.g., public wallet addresses, transaction data, and crash diagnostics).

2) Non-custodial disclaimer
Aurus is a non-custodial wallet. This means:
- We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys.
- We do not collect, store, or have access to your seed phrase / mnemonic.
- We cannot recover your wallet if you lose your keys or recovery phrase.
- Transactions you sign are broadcast to the blockchain and generally cannot be reversed.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your keys, seed phrase, and device.
3) What information we collect
A. Public wallet information
We may process public wallet addresses (“public keys”) and related public blockchain data. This data is used to display balances, positions, activity, and other wallet functionality.
B. Transaction and activity data (via listener/indexing)
To provide fast and reliable wallet functionality, we may store and process transaction data and address activity via a listener or indexing service, such as:
- Transaction signatures / hashes
- Transaction timestamps and status
- Token accounts, mints, and transfers as reflected on-chain
- Other publicly available blockchain metadata needed to power features
Note: Blockchain addresses and transactions are typically public on the Solana blockchain and may be visible to third parties independent of Aurus.
C. Diagnostics and crash logs
We collect crash and error diagnostics to maintain reliability and improve the app. This includes data sent automatically through our error monitoring provider (Sentry), such as:
- Crash traces and error messages
- App version
- Device and OS details (e.g., model, OS version)
- Approximate network information (such as IP address) that may be included in error reports or server logs
D. What we do not collect
- Private keys
- Seed phrases / mnemonic values
- Biometric templates (Face ID / fingerprint data stays on your device)
- Government IDs or KYC documents (unless you later opt into a feature that clearly states otherwise)
4) How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide core wallet features (balances, activity, transaction construction and broadcasting)
- Monitor transactions and update state (via our listener/indexing infrastructure)
- Maintain uptime, performance, and reliability
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse
- Provide customer support when you contact us
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
6) Data retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for operational purposes:
- Crash logs/diagnostics: retained for a limited period to investigate and fix issues
- Listener/indexed transaction data: retained as needed to provide features and performance
Public blockchain data remains publicly available on-chain regardless of our retention practices.
7) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information we process, including encrypted connections
(HTTPS) and access controls for internal systems.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Because Aurus is non-custodial, you are responsible for securing your device and recovery materials.
8) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data.
To make a request, contact us at support@aur.us.
9) Risk disclosure
Using cryptocurrencies and decentralized networks involves significant risk, including the risk of loss of funds. Digital assets can be volatile, transactions may be irreversible, and interacting with smart contracts or decentralized applications may expose you to bugs, exploits, phishing, and other attacks.
Aurus provides software tools only and does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, security practices, and compliance with applicable laws.
10) Children
Aurus is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
